Begin Again: Returning to Calm Through Beginner's Mind

A gentle, practical 10-week course for busy people who want to calm their nervous system and don't know where to start. Short practices, very little theory, and a weekly rhythm that fits real life.

Each week you'll gently look at what you've been rushing past, and come out lighter, not heavier.

Does this sound familiar?

If you recognise yourself here, this course was made with you in mind. I created it thinking of who I was twenty years ago, and of what I would have needed to hear back then.

What can change

Over ten weeks, you'll learn to:

The approach

Practice first. Theory only as a map.

Shoshin, beginner's mind, comes from the Zen tradition. It's the invitation to meet life with openness and curiosity, without the weight of "I already know". This course turns that idea into something you can practise in your body, every day.

You don't need to dig through everything at once. We look at what's there with curiosity, one small practice at a time.

It brings together tools that have supported me for many years, each credited to its source: somatic practices, mindfulness, breathing from the yogic tradition, wisdom from Yoga-Vedanta, the map of the nervous system from polyvagal theory, the parts work of Internal Family Systems, and coaching questions. None of it is mine. I'm the one walking it with you.

And there's room for play and a little humour too. Beginning again works best with a light heart.

How it works

A steady weekly rhythm, starting the day you join.

Your access opens on 1 November 2026. Week 0 is available as soon as your enrollment is confirmed. Week 1 opens three days later, and each following week opens seven days after the previous one, counted from your own start date. This rhythm gives you time to practise and integrate before moving on.

Time needed: about 30 to 45 minutes a week, plus a few minutes a day.

What's included

Every path begins with a single, unhurried step.

About me

Hi, I'm Sara.

I'm a credentialed wellbeing and life coach (ACC, NBC-HWC) and Mindfulness Mentor, based in Mallorca. Before coaching, I worked in hotel management, running at full speed, forgetting to eat and humming in traffic to calm myself down.

For thirty years I've been trying, reading and exploring what really helps. This course gathers the tools that truly worked for me: often simple, sometimes surprising, always small enough to fit into a real day. I first created it for my coaching clients, because I know the real change happens between sessions. Then I realised it could support many more people.

My training includes integrative somatic approaches with The Embody Lab, somatic parts work with Fran Booth, and Mentor mindfulness training with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.
